POLAND UNBLOCKS ANOTHER CHECKPOINT ON BORDER WITH UKRAINE

Polish farmers have unblocked the Uhryniv-Dołhobyczow checkpoing on the border with Ukraine, allowing the resumption of truck traffic, according to the State Border Guard Service.

According to information from Polish border guards, the passage of freight vehicles is now operating in normal mode on the Polish side before the Uhryniv-Dołhobyczow border crossing checkpoint.

There are currently 120 trucks in line at the border crossing.

However, Poland notes that the blockade of truck traffic at this checkpoint may resume on April 2.

"We urge drivers and carriers to take this information into account," border guards report.

Border blockade

Potests on the Polish-Ukrainian border resumed in February. Farmers blocked checkpoints and started dumping Ukrainian grain. The agrarians said that they would continue their protests at the border until the end of April.

However, several checkpoints on the border with Ukraine have recently been unblocked. In particular, on March 21, the blockade of the Zosin-Ustyluh checkpoint was lifted. Truck traffic both into and out of Ukraine has resumed.

Polish farmers previously did not allow trucks from Ukraine to pass through two checkpoints - Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska.
