NIGHT SHAHED DRONES ATTACK ON SOUTH OF UKRAINE - DETAILS

Russian troops launched several groups of Shahed drones into the territory of Ukraine tonight, March 28, attempting to attack the energy infrastructure, according to the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk.

"The attack and combat operations lasted almost four hours, and we worked in different directions. The enemy launched drones from the Black Sea and through the temporarily occupied territories. The combat work was quite effective," said Humeniuk.

According to her, the results of the combat work are still being clarified, but it is known that about a dozen drones were successfully shot down. The enemy again attacked energy system objects, tried to damage industrial facilities, and insidiously directed drones through residential areas.

"As for the Odesa region, where the enemy tried to target an energy system object, but the defenders performed flawlessly - both drones that attempted to approach the Odesa region from the sea were shot down," she said.
